Are you shopping for a $299 PC? Are you wondering if a $199 PC
is worth the plastic it's encased in? You've come to the right place.
This is a buyer's guide for PCs that are "ridiculously cheap". While there's no firm price cap, $300 or less (for desktops) is the rule of thumb. Believe it or not, you can get a darn good PC for that price. Or less - for as little as $199. Sure, you can expect some compromises, but I'll let you know what those are before you buy. I only talk about ready-to-use PCs - these systems all come pre-built, with memory and a hard drive. You just need to add a monitor and (in some cases) install an operating system. The site offers reviews, specs, buying tips, news, and hot deals. If you have a suggestion, newsworthy item, or deal to share, please let me know. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your site. I'm pretty well pleased with the Wal-Mart Microtel SYSWM5017 I bought a couple months ago. Thanks and keep up the good work informing us "ridiculously cheap" consumers... - Dale Ford |
