Text: Capital Business Machines is sponsoring an "Educational Exposition" for school educators (administrators, teachers, aides) and home educators (parents) of Humboldt and Del Norte Counties. Our goal is to provide a forum for suppliers of educational software to display their most popular and their latest software releases to residents of Northern California.
When: May 2, 1987 Displays open 9AM-6PM Hourly Presentations 10AM-5PM Where: Red Lion Motor Inn, Redwood Ballroom 1929 Fourth Street, Eureka Our "''Expo''" will provide over 1,000 educators and hundreds of computer-using families with the opportunity to see and use the best and latest software for their Apple. Presentations are planned to let you see and talk to the educators in this area that are using their Apple's to desktop publish yearbooks, school newspapers, and telecommunicate student articles to remote school sites. Apple Computer Inc. is sending a staff person to answer questions and to provide demonstrations of Apple's new products, including the Apple IIGS and the Macintosh II. There will be two demonstrations, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. (We are negotiating a possibility of a drawing for a "free" computer system.) Everyone is welcome to attend and reservations are not required. A nominal admission fee will be charged at the door. Thank you and hope to see you at the "Expo"
