     Have you heard of the pinball game called TRISTAN? Beware. It has
some problems. It is not compatible with the AFTER DARK screen-saver.
If AFTER DARK is activated while you have TRISTAN open, the screen
freezes and moving the mouse doesn't get it back. The only way to
recover is to RESTART which, on my LC, means turning the computer off
and on.
     Another problem with TRISTAN has to do with the playing of the
game itself. If you click on the TRISTAN icon, you do not get the game;
instead you get a question regarding pinball inventors which you have
to answer before you can play. Then after you have finished the game,
you cannot play another game until to you have typed in your name under
your new score. And the way you type in your name is so complicated
that it is a terrible bother.
     Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the game TRISTAN. This is a
great disappointment to me as I had looked forward to having a good
pinball game to use after a few hours with THEORIST or WRITE NOW.
