Text: Previously only available through AT&T's Customer Info Center, the AreaCODE&TIMEfinder** HyperCard stack is now being uploaded as shareware to Bulletin Boards worldwide starting with SMUGgler's BBS The AC&TF will allow you to find the Area Code and current time for more than 6,000 U.S cities with direct dialing access; most Canadian cities with direct dialing access and virtually all Ontario and Quebec cities; and more than 1,400 foreign cities from nearly 60 countries accessible by direct dialing, Besides giving the actual ''time THERE*'' (a lot easier than trying to figure out Greenwich Mean Time differences), the stack automatically adjusts in and out of Daylight Savings Time world-wide. We're not the only country that plays with the clock and sun! AT&T had previously offered the Macintosh stack, but advertised it almost exclusively to DOS users! From the predictable less than enthusiastic response, they believed the program had too limited an appeal for them to pursue it. Recently SMUG member Kevin Savetz added some needed touches to the stack so that users would be encouraged to pay the shareware fee of $15. Hopefully, a 1994 update can be created with a bit of black ink instead of the usual shocking red. The stack was initially developed by Oliver Johnson (with a lot of help from his son, Dave!) and is considered to be the most accurate, most helpful, and most inclusive area code stack available. If SMUG members would like to have the stack, it will be mailed to them on disk for $15 - the shareware fee. ($19.95+S&H from AT&T.) Contact Oliver Johnson, The KINETIC PRESS, P. O.
