Yup. There is a variety of projects seeking to integrate the many different
sources of information on the Internet, so for example, you can find the
results of an Archie search automatically while in Gopher, but those programs
don't exist yet, they're not reliable, and they're pretty hard to use. Don't
worry, though--today's tools are pretty easy to use.
