It's hard to guess just how many people read any given newsgroup, but Brian Reid (reid@decwrl.dec.com) does just that with the help of sophisticated statistics-gathering software. The following list represents his estimates of the 25 most-read newsgroups for the month of May, 1994. You can find the most recent statistics posted to news.lists once a month.
